Being someone that is going through the process of getting my repair certification, this software is priceless. It lines up perfectly with what the FAA is looking for in Work Order/Part/Test Equipment tracking. I have not even scratched the surface on what the program is capable of and it has already given me a head start. I would estimate that this program has saved me at least 40 hours of work designing and building a method to do what it does, and then it would be no where near as capable.
Our business has been using AMI since almost the very beginning. As the office manager, I am responsible for teaching new employees the software and have had 100% success of use from all employees. We like being able to add a squawk while working, scan documents to the Work Order or Customer and (for our management team) being able to "Bean Count" with all of the Reports able to generate.
Unlike other programs with the zero cost of this program it helped us by allowing us to employ additional staff to improve our service. It has helped increase our ability to accurately maintain our inventory. It has speed up our time per aircraft when it comes down to paperwork, thus increasing our productivity.
